Moderation and Questions
on: August 14, 2011, 18:32

This is a brand new forum and it takes time to see activity. Everyone is hoping for the same thing: posts. If each member makes just one post, we will soon have a vibrant community!

At some point I would love to assign a few moderators. Once the forum is really bubbling we will need some volunteers!

I am not planning to be as active in the forum as I am in the comments. I receive emails with each comment, so I'm always aware of what's going on, but I will be a little more disconnected from the forum. Think of the forum as your own baby, rather than mine.

And please don't let the forum replace the comments section! Comments are vital to bring new readers to the blog. Plus you can use the comments to invite people to discus topics further in the forum.

I'd love to help out with moderation. I'm keenly interested in the recipes area, but can help out as needed.

I just happened across this forum! I'm so excited!

I come from a family with a lot of health issues. I’m just now having to deal with some of them at 29. I’m a single mother of a 5 yr old little girl. I’m trying to get my health back. I’ve been primal since August 2011.

Welcome, Brandi! I do hope members here and articles everywhere help you get your health in order. Sometimes ironing out the kinks can be tricky, but usually health starts to improve after eating Paleo only a short while.

Thanks Peggy! You look amazing and are an inspiration!

How do I get a profile pic up though? I've played around and still can't figure it out.

You can set up your photo on gravatar.com. Then anywhere you comment with that email address, the picture will show up. :)

Thank you so much!

I don't know why part of my original post is showing up at the bottom…lol.

Peggy, I have a question for you. I was wondering if you went Paleo/Primal to lose weight at all? Or have you always been naturally slim? Your pics are amazing. Your little girl is a doll. My daughter will be 5 Oct. 13th.

I have always been slim, however, if I eat grains or fruit I can weigh about 15lbs more than I do now. I feel absolutely optimal at my current weight and do not like weighing more than this. I have so much energy and bounce around like a kid. For me, weight gain is synonymous with low energy and other problems. It may not be so for everyone, I don't know, but for me I feel best when I am very slender.
